Painting and Paperhanging Contractors

We specialize in insurance for Painting Contractors in New Jersey. We currently insure nearly 2,000 New Jersey contractors. We can provide general liability alone or in a package that includes tools coverage, equipment, supplies, installation floaters, commercial automobile, the commercial umbrella, etc.

We are looking to write small- to medium-sized painters who do most of the work themselves with very little work sub-contracted out, i.e. no “paper” contractors who sub out most of the work.

For painting and paper-hanging contractors who do residential and commercial painting and paper-hanging, interior and exterior stories are 3 stories in height and under. No painting of bridges, metal, or water and petroleum storage tanks. Pressure washing should be kept to a minimum, only for your own painting jobs.

General liability limits are available in the amounts of $500,000 or $1,000,000. One million coverage is almost always chosen because the difference in premium is very little.
